Job summary

Pressley Ridge in Cleveland is seeking a Recruiting and Certification Specialist to manage recruitment and certification of Treatment Foster Care parents. The role includes training foster parents, building community relations, and ensuring compliance with state mandates.

Extensive travel is required. The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and have at least one year of experience working with children and families, with a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Clearances including State Police, FBI, child abuse clearance as required by state.
• Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• 1 year of experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and retention of Treatment Foster Care parents.
• Community relationship building and outreach.
• Documentation and regulatory compliance duties.
• Complete quarterly home safety inspections for foster homes.
• Provide CPR/First Aid certification for staff and foster parents.
• Conduct monthly foster parent skills trainings.
• Develop training curriculum and in-service trainings.
• Handle re-certifications for Treatment Foster Parents.
