Job summary

Pressley Ridge seeks a Recruiting and Certification Specialist to lead recruitment and certification for Treatment Foster Care parents. You will train foster parents, cultivate community relations, and ensure program compliance across processes.

The role requires travel and a bachelor's degree in human services or related field with at least 1 year of experience working with children and families. Non-traditional hours may apply to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Clearances: State Police, FBI, child abuse clearances and mandated reporting training.
• Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Requires 1 year of experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and retention of Treatment Foster Care parents.
• Community relationship building to support program goals.
• Documentation and compliance across records and processes.
• Completes quarterly home safety inspections of treatment foster homes.
• Completes CPR/First Aid certification for staff and foster parents.
• Completes monthly foster parent skills building and training.
• Develops training curriculum and schedules for in-service trainings.
• Completes Treatment Foster Parents re-certifications.

Position Summary

The Recruiting and Certification Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment and certification of Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Parents, including responsibility to train/teach TFC Parents. The Recruiting and Certification Specialist also understands community relations as well as the Re-Education Philosophies and Community Based service components.

The Recruiting and Certification Specialist travels extensively.
