La Frontera Arizona, Inc. is seeking a Trainer and Foster Care Recruiter in Tucson, AZ to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified foster care applicants and to be the first contact for the Foster Care program.

The role emphasizes meeting deadlines, organization, and effective communication. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in a related field, at least two years in child welfare, and credentials such as PS-MAPP/PS-DT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, Family Studies, Psychology, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in child welfare or human services, specifically monitoring and licensing foster homes.
• Experience in writing home studies and assessments of family systems.
• Excel in time management, organization, and meeting deadlines.
• Experience working with kinship families.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
• Certified PS-MAPP Trainer and PS-DT Trainer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a continuing pool of prospective and well-trained applicants for foster care licensure.
• Serve as the first point of contact for the Foster Care program and embody the program's mission.
