Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Foster Care Supervisor to lead and train the Foster Care team, ensuring high-quality support for foster families and children.

You will oversee training, compliance, and coordination of care plans, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with attorneys, therapists, and other providers. This role emphasizes strong communication, ethics, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Human Services, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college.
• At least 1 year of prior case management experience in child and family services.
• Broad knowledge of social work principles and practices.
• Understanding effects of separation, neglect, and abuse on children.
• Knowledge of state, community, and agency resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and train the Foster Care team with weekly supervision.
• Build a cohesive team and maintain positive employee morale.
• Oversee compliance, audits, and reporting of files.
• Coordinate selection, training, and orientation processes.
• Meet with foster families monthly to ensure appropriate care.
• Maintain and update client records and case files.
• Stay current with agency, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Attend weekly case review meetings with supervisor.
