Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support foster parents and the children in their care. You will train, equip, and connect families to community resources to meet each child’s needs.

You’ll provide case management services, testify in court as needed, and maintain precise records while coordinating treatment plans with various providers. Based in Kalamazoo or Benton Harbor, you’ll collaborate with the team to ensure safe, nurturing placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• At least one (1) year of prior case management experience in child and family services.
• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license and at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to children in foster care.
• Attend and testify at court hearings, as necessary.
• Maintain current and accurate client records, case files, notes, and medical records.
• Coordinate and facilitate the completion of the treatment plan and communicate with providers.
• Meet with foster parents monthly to ensure appropriate care for foster children.
• Investigate child abuse and neglect per program guidelines.
• Complete required reports in a timely manner.
• Stay informed on agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
