Aspiranet seeks a Foster Care Program Director to oversee day-to-day operations of foster care and adoption services in Stockton, CA. This on-site leadership role ensures licensing compliance, fiscal oversight, staff and foster family recruitment, training, and retention, while advancing Best Practices across the program.

The position reports to the Division Director, requires a Master’s in Social Work or related field, and at least three years in child welfare with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Three years of full-time social work or casework in family or child welfare, or two years in a foster family/adoption agency.
• Must pass state-mandated background checks and health clearances.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day operations of foster care and adoption services.
• Ensure licensing and regulatory compliance, fiscal oversight, and best practices.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff and foster families.
• Maintain communication with external partners and referral sources as needed.
• Coordinate onboarding and training of new staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee performance.
• Lead initiatives to improve service delivery and staff wellbeing.
