Aspiranet is seeking a Foster Care Program Director in Bakersfield, CA, to lead day-to-day foster care and adoption services, ensure licensing compliance, manage budgets, and drive best practices in child welfare.

This on-site role reports to the Division Director and requires a Master’s degree in social work or related field, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and 3+ years in child welfare or 2 years in foster/adoption work.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Three years of full-time social work or casework in family or child welfare, or two years in foster/adoption agency.
• Must pass state background checks and health clearances.

Responsabilités

• Oversee foster care and adoption programs, ensuring program compliance and fiscal oversight.
• Lead staff, coordinate with partners, and manage day-to-day operations within budget.
• Promote best practices in child welfare and safety standards.
• Support recruitment, training, and retention of staff and foster families.
