Job summary

Ohio Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, seeks a Foster Care Licensing Specialist to support licensing for foster care providers and oversee related workflows. You will gather documents, conduct home studies, orientation, and ensure compliance with funding requirements while collaborating with program teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of licensing experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a human services, marketing, or business field, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Foster Care Licensing Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, marketing, or business.
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance if transportation for services is required.

Responsibilities

• Gather documents for foster parent initial licensing.
• Conduct orientation, home study evaluations, and pre-service orientation.
• Monitor marketing budget and collaborate with internal marketing to produce materials; maintain records per funding source.
• Record and report statistics to measure recruitment effectiveness; report pipeline activity.
• Facilitate client matching meetings with Program Manager and Coordinator.
• Develop informative activities and programs about company services.
• Contribute to mentor retention program development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather documents for foster parent initial licensing
• Conduct orientation, home study evaluations, and pre-service orientation.
• Monitor and maintain allocated marketing budget and partners with internal marketing resources to produce materials. May develop own materials. Maintain appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements.
• Record and report on the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts; report regularly on pipeline activity.
• Work with Program Manager and Program Coordinator to facilitate client match meetings.
• Develop informative activities and programs about company services.
• Participate in the development and implementation of mentor retention programs.
