National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a Licensing Coordinator for the Atlanta region, based in Tucker, GA. The role focuses on recruiting, licensing, and retaining quality foster homes while ensuring adherence to state and agency rules and policies.

Compensation ranges from $43,000 to $48,000, depending on degree, experience, and licensure. The position reports to the Regional Manager and involves travel to provide community-based services, with flexible/non-traditional hours and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field.
• 2 years of direct service experience with youth and families preferred.
• Foster care licensing experience required.
• Willing to travel daily to provide community-based services.
• Flexible/non-traditional hours may be required.
• Ability to be flexible and respectful to diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Comfortable with public speaking.
• Proficient with desktop and laptop computers and common office tech.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, license, and retain quality foster homes.
• Develop recruitment strategies to generate inquiries for viable licensed foster homes.
• Support foster parents in understanding youth needs and fostering reunification goals.
• Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, and policies related to foster care.
• Complete face-to-face meetings and assist in licensing process for potential families.
• Maintain and update foster home records in appropriate systems.
• Provide ongoing training and support to licensed foster homes.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities and supervision.
