Job summary

Ohio Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, is seeking a Recertification Coordinator to join our team. This role supports Residential and Treatment Foster Care for youth transitioning or facing out-of-home placements, helping with stability and growth.

Responsibilities include annual contractual reviews for Host Home Providers, providing placement information to the matching team, maintaining compliant files, and coordinating mentor appreciation and continuing education sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services and two years of related human services experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Meet all state-specific regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver's license, car registration and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication to manage relationships.
• Commitment to quality in all work.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the annual contractual review process for Host Home Providers.
• Provide information to the matching team on homes with availability for placement.
• Maintain and audit files regularly for compliance.
• Work with the management team to develop and implement a Mentor retention plan.
• Coordinate ongoing Mentor appreciation activities and develop continuing education sessions.
