Job summary

The Bair Foundation in Knoxville, TN seeks a Foster Care Coordinator to ensure safe, stable homes for children in foster and kinship care. You will work with foster families, children, and service teams to assess well-being and coordinate services that meet each child’s needs.

Responsibilities include monitoring safety, supervising caregivers, planning services, and tracking outcomes, while maintaining regulatory compliance and professional documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
• Experience providing casework services to children and families, preferably in foster care or child welfare.
• Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Protect Child Safety by monitoring placements and responding to safety concerns.
• Equip and support foster and kinship caregivers through supervision and training.
• Coordinate effective services with families and teams to support treatment goals and permanency.
• Track outcomes and well-being with home visits and ongoing assessments.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with documentation and standards.
