State of Indiana's Department of Child Services is hiring a Foster Care Case Manager to license foster families and support local Case Managers. You will recruit and train caregivers, expand placements, and improve outcomes for children in central Indiana.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 2+ years of human services experience.
• 30 college credit hours plus 4+ years of human services experience.
• At least 5 years of human services experience.
• Advanced knowledge of social work principles and laws.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse families and agencies.

Responsabilités

• Investigate reported child abuse/neglect and advise on disposition.
• Assess risk and arrange removal if needed to protect the child.
• Perform needs assessments and develop treatment options.
• Prepare reports and briefing documents for court and partners.
• Develop case plans to promote family self-sufficiency and permanent homes.
• Attend home visits and monitor placement transitions.
