Qualifications

• Knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards for Child Placing Agencies.
• Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse youth and families.
• Proficient English; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet Buckner driving requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and sustain prolonged walking/standing.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and provide services to foster children, families, and adoptive families.
• Provide ongoing case management for clients in Buckner foster homes.
• Participate in supervision and home visits per licensing and Buckner policies.
• Maintain documentation for case files in a timely manner.
• Develop, monitor and review Plans of Service with clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with schools and families.
• Lead trainings for foster parents and assist with family visits and transportation.
• Collaborate with STAR Health and placement agencies; participate in court hearings as needed.
