Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment of foster parents following the annual plan with program and community partners.
• Complete licensing, assessment, and support processes to meet licensing standards.
• Recommend license utilization and coordinate with providers for needed services.
• Monitor foster homes for compliance with licensing standards and support families in corrective actions.
• Oversee visits and transportation for foster children and families as needed.
• Provide education to foster parents on special education services for children in care.
• Collaborate with DFPS and placing agencies on resource selection and support services.
