Every Child's Hope in Dexter, Missouri is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to help children in the foster and adoptive care system establish permanency and safe, loving homes.

You will provide comprehensive case management, assess safety, coordinate services, advocate in court, and support families through on-call duties and trauma-informed training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of one year experience providing family and children services.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management services to children and families within the foster and adoptive care system.
• Develop and formulate permanency goals and concurrent plans tailored to the needs of assigned children.
• Conduct assessments of child abuse/neglect risks and ongoing safety of children.
• Assess child and family functioning, strengths, needs, stressors, and coping mechanisms to tailor support.
• Research and refer children and families to necessary services to meet their specific needs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of provided services.
• Advocate for assigned children in court proceedings, providing testimony on their behalf.
• Offer parent education and support to strengthen family dynamics.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent needs and emergencies.
• Ensure all required documentation standards are met and maintained.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with assigned children and out-of-home care providers.
• Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate Family Support Team (FST) meetings.
• Secure appropriate and least restrictive out-of-home placements for assigned children.
• Arrange for medical, dental, and routine health services for children in out-of-home placements.
• Assist families in meeting the cost of care expenses, alleviating financial burdens.
• Responsible for trauma aware, sensitive, and responsive practice through trauma-informed education and training.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human service field
