Job summary

Persistent Systems is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer in New Jersey to bridge AI technology with customer business challenges. You will design, customize, deploy, and scale AI-powered solutions, acting as a trusted technical advisor and hands-on engineer for Generative AI, ML, and AI-driven automation.

You will collaborate with product teams and customers, shaping solution architectures, governance, and deployment strategies while driving value realization across cloud and hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Large Language Models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, etc.).
• Hands-on with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Experience with ML and DL concepts.
• Knowledge of Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, Azure AI Search).
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Enterprise Integrations.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes; CI/CD and MLOps practices.
• Strong consulting, stakeholder mgmt and business communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand business objectives and translate them into AI solutions.
• Develop and deploy Generative AI, Agentic AI, and ML solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Lead solution architectures, deployment strategies, and technical design docs.
• Monitor adoption metrics and help scale pilots into deployments.
• Stay current with AI advances and contribute to playbooks and best practices.
