Job summary

Baidu USA is launching a new high-priority initiative in North America and building a US delivery team. We seek a Forward Deployment Engineer to bridge product value with enterprise clients and guide the deployment of APIs, data pipelines, and platforms.

You will review, test, and troubleshoot integrations, while synthesizing customer feedback for product improvements. This role suits someone who translates technical concepts into business language, manages multiple projects, and thrives in a

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering enterprise software or AI solutions to external clients.
• Experience working directly with non-technical executives and technical staff (developers, ITOps).
• Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) at a conceptual level and know how to deploy services, configure networking basics, and monitor logs.
• Understanding of AI/ML is a plus; ability to learn on the job.
• Experience with Customer Success platforms (Gainsight, Totango, Salesforce) or ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk).
• Prior experience in a startup or hyper-growth environment.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (SFTP, ETL, SOAP, OAuth).
• Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI products—either as a user or implementer.

Responsibilities

• Customer Success Management: monitor health, usage, satisfaction; drive adoption campaigns and QBRs.
• Needs Discovery: understand goals, constraints, success criteria; define deployment approach.
• Collaborative Integration: coordinate with engineering/product teams to deliver integrations; review/test/troubleshoot scripts.
• Voice of the Customer: translate feedback into product improvements and roadmap input.
