Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Value Acceleration Engineer to work inside Salesforce AI Labs, building a direct-to-customer automation product for enterprise use. You will deploy code with customers, translate technical results into business value, and shape an emerging product with autonomy and cross-functional support.

Expect 40–60% travel to customer sites, collaborate with customers to define workflows, and ensure reliability and scalability of automated solutions in real-world enterprise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in value acceleration engineering or equivalent roles.
• Ability to write and debug JavaScript/TypeScript for browser/web app contexts.
• Experience deploying customer-facing automation tools in enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate technical results into business value and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Write custom JavaScript tools when existing capabilities cannot complete a task.
• Debug failures across browser behavior, agent execution, application state, and backend services.
• Build tests for business outcomes, exceptions, partial completion, and recovery.
• Help launch and stabilize workflows, documenting monitoring and recovery procedures and establishing support ownership with the team.
• Turn deployment lessons into reusable tools and tests for future use.
