Avathon is seeking a Forward Deployed Design Lead - PLM to embed with customers and lead the configuration, design, and adoption of Avathon's AI PLM layer. You will map BOM workflows, design screens, and drive user adoption across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

You will spend most weeks onsite with CAD engineers and PLM admins, with Fridays for synthesis and collaboration. This role requires deep PLM expertise and strong stakeholder engagement to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in PLM implementation or UX/design embedded in client delivery.
• Experience mapping end-to-end PLM workflows and producing implementation-ready specs.
• Ability to train and onboard users, coach client teams, and drive adoption.

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end implementation of Avathon's AI platform within customer PLM environments.
• Lead functional configuration of PLM-adjacent modules and data integrations.
• Design and validate end-user interfaces within Avathon's PLM surfaces.
• Facilitate client sessions, capture requirements, and drive adoption post go-live.
• Travel up to 80% and base in Pleasanton, CA or Austin, TX.
