Job summary

Accenture seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer for the Agentic Identity Platform to write code in client environments. You will own components end-to-end, prototype against evolving standards, and build tooling used by the practice.

Excellent candidates have hands-on recent production work, strong cloud and security knowledge, and the ability to explain complex designs to engineers at client sites. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems.
• Hands-on work within the last 18 months counting production development or prototyping.
• 2+ years in at least one language from Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, Java, or C+.
• 2+ years building distributed systems in production.
• 2+ years deploying cloud infrastructure with containers and CI/CD.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent, or 12+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end components: design, implement, deploy, and manage failure modes.
• Reverse-engineer how identity works in client environments and propose designs.
• Prototype against emerging standards and vendor betas.
• Build internal tooling and reference implementations used by the practice.
• Explain designs to client engineers and defend choices.
