Job summary

Binti is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our Integrations Engineering team in this customer-facing role. You will own high-impact technical projects—from on-site discovery and architecture sessions to live co-development and ongoing support—driving value for government partners.

The ideal candidate combines deep engineering experience with excellent communication, a service mindset, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments. Travel up to 50% and remote work are possible.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a customer-facing role like integrations engineer, consultant, or similar.
• Familiar with legacy systems and the challenges of government contexts.
• Ability to architect, build, and maintain distributed integrated systems.
• Comfortable with APIs, data pipelines (ETL), enterprise data warehouses (EDW) and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discovery and architecture sessions with customers to design integrations that are performant, secure, and scalable within the Binti platform.
• Lead co-development sessions with customer development teams, providing live support and consulting during integration with Binti APIs and connectors.
• Develop relationships with customers' technical teams to become a trusted integration partner.
• Provide integration technical support, answer questions, and help debug customer integrations.
• Collaborate with the Integrations Team to improve APIs, connectors, and integration tools.
• Support other teams by sharing integration capabilities and customer usage insights.
