The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software engineering, production AI deployments, and strong Python/TypeScript skills, with RCM domain experience and AWS familiarity.

A healthcare technology organization is seeking a full-time Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to help build and deploy AI-powered automation solutions across its Revenue Cycle Management platform. This position can be based remotely anywhere in the United States, with a hybrid option available for candidates in the Chicago area. The environment leverages AWS, Python, TypeScript, modern AI frameworks, enterprise integrations, and agentic technologies to solve large-scale operational challenges. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer who enjoys owning both technical execution and business outcomes. The organization is investing heavily in AI agents that automate real operational work across claims management, denials, accounts receivable, and healthcare revenue cycle teams. The ideal candidate has successfully deployed AI-driven business processes into production environments and can partner directly with operations leaders to identify automation opportunities that generate measurable impact. Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• Proven experience building and deploying AI agents or agentic workflows into production environments
• Experience implementing AI-driven business process automation
• Strong Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript development experience
• Experience working with APIs and enterprise integrations
