Job summary

Asana is seeking a deeply technical Forward Deployed Engineer to help product teams deploy Command. You will work directly with customers, moving quickly from insight to implementation and feeding learning back into the product.

This role is based in our San Francisco or New York City office with an office‑centric hybrid schedule. In-office days are Mon, Tue, Thu; many can work WFH on Wed; Friday depends on work and teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in technical, customer-facing engineering roles.
• Strong ability to move from whiteboard to production code.
• Experience integrating software across APIs, data models and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leaders and builders to connect Command to existing systems.
• Establish foundations for adoption and enable teams to ship faster.
• Write production-quality code and turn customer solutions into reusable features.
