Job summary

Ramp is seeking a Software Engineer, Forward Deployed to solve complex problems for the world’s largest companies. You will join the Core FDE team, working directly with customers to understand pain points, shape product decisions, and build agents that autonomously expand Ramp's capabilities.

You will collaborate across Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals, activate customers, and increase long-term value. This role is fast-paced and highly impactful.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience preferred.
• Extensive experience building with and for agents.
• Track record of shipping high‑quality products at scale.
• Comfort and excitement to be customer‑facing.
• Desire to work in a fast‑paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software end to end that meets the needs ofRamp's largest customers, understanding pain points and building agents that implement solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Solutions, Customer Success, and Account Management to close deals, activate customers, and expand value.
• Drive the core product engineering roadmap through the embedding model, developing deep domain expertise and prioritizing between custom solutions vs broader initiatives.
