Job summary

RedBeard Solutions is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy agentic and generative AI-powered solutions for U.S. government clients. You will create scalable, secure applications and collaborate with designers, PMs, and stakeholders to meet mission requirements.

You will work hands-on across modern architectures, cloud-native deployments, and compliance-focused environments, delivering real systems that address complex challenges.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML, or full-stack development.
• Experience deploying applications in cloud-native environments.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript).
• Experience building or integrating LLM-based systems, agentic frameworks, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding of secure system design and compliance considerations.
• Ability to connect user needs to architecture.

Responsibilities
