Job summary

Atomicwork Inc. is hiring an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer in Palo Alto to design, deploy, and optimize AI-powered workflow automation for enterprise customers.

You will translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions, integrate APIs and microservices, and lead production deployments with an emphasis on reliability and measurable outcomes. Qualifications

• Hands-on, ownership-driven, able to execute in startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and deploy AI-powered workflow automation solutions for customers.
• Conduct deep requirements discovery and translate business problems into technical designs.
• Work hands-on with enterprise customers, acting as a trusted advisor for ITSM and AI-driven transformation.
• Implement integrations, automations, APIs, and microservices to connect Atomicwork within customer environments.
• Lead deployment cycles from prototype to production, ensuring reliability and measurable outcomes.
• Train and onboard customer technical teams, ensuring best-practice configuration and adoption.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with customer engineering and operations teams to drive solution success.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering, sharing customer-use insights to influence the roadmap.

What You’ll Do

• Design, architect, and deploy AI-powered workflow automation solutions tailored to customer needs using Atomicwork’s platform and modern AI frameworks.
• Conduct deep requirements discovery and translate business problems into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Work hands-on with enterprise customers, becoming a trusted advisor for ITSM + AI-driven transformation.
• Implement integrations, automations, APIs, and microservices to connect Atomicwork within customer environments.

• Experience working in startups or high-ownership environments — startup DNA is a must.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-first mindset.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills—confidence interacting with leadership and technical teams.
