Glocomms is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in New York City for a hands-on, customer-focused role. You will lead technical deployments with enterprise customers, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and build APIs, integrations, and prototypes.

Expect a 3-day on-site, 2-day remote hybrid schedule in NYC, with domestic travel up to 30-40%. Strong API, data flow, and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) skills and 4+ years of relevant experience are required.

Formación

• 4+ years in software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on coding or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.

We're partnering with a fast-growing technology company building a platform that connects physical products with cloud-based software and data. They're looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy technical solutions in real-world environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on technically while working directly with customers.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical deployments with enterprise customers.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity.
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable working a 3-day-per-week onsite hybrid schedule in New York City and traveling domestically as required.

Nice to Have
