ClosedWon Talent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver AI-native supply chain deployment solutions for multiple clients in Austin. You will own data pipelines, optimization logic, and customer interfaces, embedding AI features that customers use to analyze and adjust their plans.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years as FDE (6+ for senior) with strong Python skills and daily use of Claude and modern AI coding tools.
Most companies still plan their supply chains — quantities, mix, allocations, timing — in spreadsheets or legacy planning software. Our client is replacing that with an AI-native decision system that models a customer's supply chain at the unit level, so humans and AI can work the same plan every day rather than passing files back and forth.

The founders came out of the supply chain and demand planning organization at Tesla where they built the end-to-end planning engine that became the backbone of that company's supply chain. They're backed by well-known venture investors, they've recently moved upmarket into enterprise deals, and they're winning head-to-head against the incumbent planning vendors. Customers are consumer brands across food, beverage, CPG, beauty, and apparel.
Forward Deployed Engineers own customer deployments end to end. It's the same technical work the core engineering team does, but client-facing and embedded across the entire problem rather than scoped to one layer of it.
The engineering team builds and maintains the platform foundation. This team sits on top of it, connecting each customer to the baseline and then figuring out everything that has to happen for it to be genuinely right for that business. You'd typically be deep in one customer at a time, working across several modules of their supply chain — warehouse replenishment, kitting site planning, raw production, raw material purchasing — each with different stakeholders, different data, and different nuance.
This is a small, creative, hard-working team that uses AI tooling constantly and expects the same from new hires.
