Job summary

PwC seeks a Forward Deployed Data Engineering – Senior Associate to develop software improving digital transformation and business performance. You will design, code, test, and review applications, leveraging Python and OO design while collaborating with teams to meet client needs.

You will implement CI/CD practices, perform QA testing, and contribute to enterprise integration efforts, mentoring junior staff and upholding high engineering standards.

Qualifications

As a Forward Deployed Data Engineering – Senior Associate, you will develop innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance within our Tax practice. Your work will combine technical skills with creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will build client connections, anticipate their needs, and manage and inspire others while navigating complex situations and growing your personal brand.

• Utilize programming languages such as Python for software development and troubleshooting.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline software deployment.
• Conduct quality assurance testing to validate software functionality and performance.
• Engage in application development and enterprise application integration to support client needs.
• Apply object‑oriented design principles to create scalable and maintainable software architectures.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to optimize software performance and reliability.
• Build meaningful client connections and anticipate their needs to deliver quality solutions.

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or related field.

Travel Requirements

Travel Requirements: Up to 80%.

Salary

Salary range: $77,000 - $214,000. Compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
