Job summary

Databricks in Washington, DC is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with customers to build solutions addressing their data and AI challenges using the Databricks platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, capabilities in various programming languages, and a strong understanding of cloud ecosystems. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role, requiring both technical expertise and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful customer technical projects and deliver production-grade systems.
• Guide customers on architecture and design for Databricks projects.
• Embed with customer teams for understanding challenges and delivering impact.
