Job summary

Logicbroker seeks a Forward Deployed Commerce Operator to be embedded with strategic retailers and brands, managing their dropship, marketplace, or wholesale programs end to end. You will represent Logicbroker’s platform and best practices to clients and their trading networks.

This role requires on-site discovery, documenting workflows, and becoming fully capable of operating the program within the client’s environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ecommerce operations or platform support, ideally within dropship, marketplace, or supply chain operations capacity.
• Self-starter with significant autonomy while embedded inside a client’s organization.
• Excellent communication skills and experience running cross-functional meetings with various stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of EDI systems, ecommerce platforms, and commerce workflows.
• Experience using LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in current workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to operate with incomplete information and turn it into complete information.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate as the embedded extension of enterprise retailers and brands Commerce Operations team running commerce programs on their behalf
• Full on-site discovery and execution to document workflows and become capable of operating the program
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for retailer stakeholders and their vendor community, in person and day to day
• Deliver on program KPIs (e.g., supplier onboarding velocity, time to site metrics, GMV improvement)
• Lead onboarding, training, and enablement as the face of the client’s program to supplier base
• Identify operational risk and drive resolution with vendors and Logicbroker teams
• Translate field reality into feedback for Product, Engineering, and other internal teams
• Troubleshoot the Logicbroker platform when issues arise
• Build trusted relationships with client eCommerce and merchandising teams

Job Summary

As a Forward Deployed Commerce Operator, you will be embedded inside of strategic enterprise retailers and brands operating their dropship, marketplace, or wholesale program operations end to end. You will be accountable for the work and key measures of our client’s commerce operations teams while representing Logicbroker’s platform, tools, and best practices for the client and their connected trading communities.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate as the embedded extension of enterprise retailers and brands Commerce Operations team running commerce programs on their behalf

• Full on-site discovery and execution for the length of time required to document workflows and become fully capable of operating the program

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for the retailer’s internal stakeholders (merchandising, supply chain, IT) and for their vendor/supplier community, in person and day to day.

• Deliver on agreed upon program level KPIs on the client’s behalf (ex. supplier onboarding velocity, time to site metrics, gross merchandise value improvement)

• Lead onboarding, training, and enablement acting as the face of the client’s program to their supplier base

• Proactively identify operational risk before it becomes a client escalation, and drive resolution directly with vendors and internal Logicbroker teams

• Translate the “on the ground” operational reality into feedback for Product, Engineering, other internal teams

• Troubleshoot the Logicbroker platform when issues arise

• Build trusted relationships with client’s eCommerce and merchandising teams.

What We Need:

• 3+ years in eCommerce operations or platform support, ideally within dropship, marketplace, or supply chain operations capacity.
