Job summary

Koch Risk Optimization seeks an embedded Forward Deployed Engineer to build production-grade analytics, AI workflows, and applications that solve complex risk, financial, and investment challenges. You will partner with risk leaders, quantitative analysts, and tech teams to prototype, deploy, and own high-impact solutions.

This role pursues autonomous, entrepreneurial engineering, with exposure to market risk, credit risk, insurance, and investments, plus Gen AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as an embedded engineer in an enterprise/business unit or trading environment.
• Experience building, deploying, and operating applications in an enterprise cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience using AI-native developer tooling to accelerate software design and quality.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into working software through collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embedded technical partner and full-stack builder: collaborate with domain experts to design, prototype, and deliver analytics, applications, and AI solutions.
• Enhance operational outcomes by coordinating with technical support resources and maintaining reliability of deployed systems.
• Lead AI-native engineering practices to accelerate delivery and expand capabilities across the team.
• Develop and support Gen AI workflows and agents across Koch’s risk optimization portfolio.
• Uphold enterprise architecture standards for identity, security, data, and platform governance.
