Job summary

Rnb Consultancy in Washington, DC seeks a Member of Technical Staff to blend applied AI research with production engineering, embedded with government customers. You will own agent systems from prototype to production and build LLM applications using RAG, tool-calling and multi-agent setups.

This role requires 1–4 years of production engineering, strong Python, data pipelines and ML infra experience, and excellent communication with government clients. On-site five days a week in DC.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of production engineering where you owned what went live.
• Strong Python, and hands-on work with LLMs and agents: RAG, tool calling, multi-agent setups, context handling.
• Solid fundamentals with experience in data pipelines and ML infra.
• A great communicator who can represent the company to government customers.
• Founder mindset; team player with low ego.
• Based in DC or able to move quickly; in the office five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Own agent systems from prototype to production.
• Develop LLM applications using RAG and multi-agent setups.
• Build pipelines to curate data and evaluate models during training and deployment.
• Maintain the infra behind inference, experiments, evals and deployment.
