Job summary

Programmers.io seeks an experienced AI Solutions Engineer to deliver AI-powered solutions, including LLM workflows, integrations, and production deployments in client environments.

You will work with Python, Java, and SQL, leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data prep, model integration, and end-to-end delivery for healthcare payer/provider engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of proficient experience in at least one programming language (Python/Java/SQL).
• 2+ years in a consulting or advisory capacity with client-facing delivery.
• Experience with APIs, data pipelines, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to AI/ML concepts including LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to work in client-facing delivery environments and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI-powered solutions, including LLM workflows, copilots, and automation tools in client environments.
• Implement integrations between AI models, APIs, and enterprise healthcare systems.
• Translate defined solution designs into production-ready code.
• Support development, testing, and deployment activities to enable end-to-end delivery.
• Develop solution components using Python, Java, SQL and modern frameworks.
• Work with distributed systems and cloud platforms for scalable deployments.
• Assist with data preparation, prompt configuration, and model integration for AI-driven solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and deployment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and client stakeholders in healthcare payer/provider engagements.
• Translate requirements into actionable development tasks and communicate progress clearly.
• Document components and support knowledge transfer to client teams.
