CBRE is reshaping its Forward Deploy Engineer program to embed senior engineers within business product teams. You will ship software that directly influences client experience and revenue, working with product managers and stakeholders across data products.

As a FDE you’ll design, build, demo, and iterate features, focusing on AI/ML capabilities, data pipelines, and scalable architectures. This role blends product sensibility with deep engineering craft.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in forward‑deployed, embedded engineering role or interface with business/tech teams.
• Demonstrable track record of shipping production software in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• Experience partnering directly with business or product stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embedded Product Delivery: partner with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Own full delivery lifecycle: design, build, demo, iterate, and release—fast.
• Serve as engineering voice in product planning, shaping roadmaps with technical precision.
• Architect scalable data solutions integrating CBRE enterprise platforms and products.
• Apply AI/ML capabilities to accelerate product value and ensure secure, reliable deployments.
