Job summary

Boyne Mountain Resort is seeking a friendly Host to greet and seat guests, take to-go orders, and complete transactions at the point of sale. You will balance cash drawers, assist servers, and help maintain tables and stations to ensure smooth dining experiences.

Experience with iPad seating and room service delivery is a plus. The role emphasizes strong customer service, ability to stand for long periods, and flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests.
• Answer phones and take food orders; assist guests with questions.
• Use POS to complete transactions, balance cash drawers, and prepare deposits.
• Buss tables and assist servers with table maintenance and restocking.
• Assist cooks, servers and bartenders as needed.
• Use iPad seating chart system.

Responsibilities

TheHost's typical job functions include:

• Greeting and seating guests
• Answering phones, taking food orders and answering guests questions
• Usingpoint of sale systemto complete transactions, balancing cash drawers and preparing deposits
• Bussingtables, assisting servers with table maintenance and stocking of the restaurant
• Assisting cooks, servers and bartenders with various tasks as needed
• Using iPad seating chart system
• Delivering room service and spa orders

Qualifications
