Job summary

AccentCare, Inc. seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in the Fort Worth Office. This full-time, on-site role supports a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering patient care, documenting treatments, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in PTA, a valid Texas license, CPR certification, and strong communication with patients and families. Travel to various locations as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy
• Valid license to practice in Texas
• CPR certification must be maintained
• Licensed driver able to travel to all business locations
• Ability to educate patients and families in home safety and medical equipment safety

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and documents treatment per physician orders and policy
• Documents interventions and treatment priorities
• Educates and counsels patients and families
• Presents patient information to supervising therapist and team
• Delivers skilled treatment within agency and payer guidelines
• Seeks team input for planning and intervention
• Completes daily notes and required forms promptly
• Meets productivity standards and participates in meetings
