Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide treatment under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist at our Taylor, Texas site. The role requires traveling to all designated business locations and delivering care within established PT plans.

You will educate patients and families, document treatments, and participate in team conferences. APTA-certified education and CPR are required, with licensure to practice in Texas. Per-point compensation applies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
• Valid license to practice in the state of operation.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be a licensed driver able to travel to all business locations.
• Able to educate patients and families on home safety and equipment use.
• Ability to implement and adjust care plans with supervising PT.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and documents treatment per physician orders and PT plan.
• Maintains and updates patient records and documentation.
• Educates patients and families on treatment plans and safety.
• Communicates patient status and needs to supervising therapist.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on care planning.
• Meets agency productivity standards and attends meetings as assigned.
