Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated control systems at a Fort Worth manufacturing facility. You will integrate equipment, robotics, and vision to advance smart-manufacturing capabilities.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance on upgrades, support Industry 4.0 initiatives, and document standards while providing hands-on troubleshooting and programming across Siemens, Rockwell, Fanuc and KUKA platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in automated manufacturing.
• Experience designing and maintaining PLC, HMI, SCADA systems.
• Hands-on robotics integration and industrial networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, program and implement automation and control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics, vision).
• Support integration and fine-tuning of automated equipment.
• Develop projects to improve productivity, quality and ergonomics.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in control systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance on upgrades.
• Document standards, programs and procedures for systems.
