Our client is a leading and fast-growing manufacturer specializing in the innovation of Personal Care Cosmetics and OTC Drugs/Medical Devices.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$41k - $45k

Position Overview

The Formulations Lab Technician will be responsible for preparing, making, and testing batch and finished products, as well as perform routine and non-routine testing in order to identify any quality or stability issues that need to be corrected.

Responsibilities Of The Formulations Lab Technician

• Assist Chemists by making routine batches following defined protocols & routine equipment.
• Prepare and perform routine and non-routine stability and compatibility tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
• Calculate test results, and report and document results, some via a computer, and reviewing for accuracy.
• Create Safety Data Sheet documentation for finished products.
• Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary.
• Assist to maintain a clean laboratory, equipment, and lab apparatus and practice safe waste disposal.
• Practice safe work habits, including complying with all cGMP, safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills for the Formulations Lab Technician:

• Demonstrated laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to comprehend and follow experimental protocols for data preservation.
  
  

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Formulations Lab Technician:

• Experience in GMP and safe laboratory practices.
  
  

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
