Job summary

Atrium Staffing LLC is recruiting two Formulation Scientists for an onsite, full-time role in Central New Jersey. You will take nutraceutical products from concept and bench samples through pilot trials, scale-up, and commercial launch, collaborating with Production, Quality, Regulatory, and Business Development teams.

Candidates should have a strong background in nutraceutical or pharmaceutical product development, with hands-on experience in solid-dose and powder processes, excipients, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nutraceuticals, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field required.
• Experience in nutraceutical/product development or related field preferred.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop formulations for tablets, capsules, powders, sachets, and effervescent dosage forms.
• Select actives, excipients, flavors, sweeteners, and delivery systems to meet product requirements.
• Prepare bench samples and technical quotations for customer evaluation.
• Run lab-scale development and pilot trials and support tech transfer and scale-up.
• Conduct stability studies and recommend formulation improvements.
• Review CoAs and support supplier/material qualification.
• Write Product Development Reports, Master Formulae, Batch Manufacturing Instructions, specs and SOPs.
