Job summary

Genentech, a member of the Roche group, is seeking a candidate to join a formulation science team in South San Francisco. The role involves developing formulations for large molecules, performing stability and compatibility studies, and analyzing samples with HPLC/UPLC, spectrophotometry, and electrophoresis.

You will work in a collaborative R&D lab, applying GMP principles and rigorous data interpretation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or MS in physical science, engineering, or life science or related field.
• 0–3 years of work experience in healthcare, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Basic understanding of protein formulation and analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute formulation studies, including stability and compatibility assessments.
• Analyze samples using spectrophotometry, pH, HPLC/UPLC and electrophoresis methods.
• Apply GMP principles and laboratory SOPs to solve problems and ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate analytical instruments; ensure lab safety.
• Present results in team and department meetings.
