Qualifications

• pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related) and has completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate studies
• Minimum GPA 3.0
• Returning to academic program for at least one semester post-internship
• Strong interest in Pharmaceutical Science and Formulation Development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of small and large molecule formulations and characterization of quality attributes
• Perform hands-on laboratory studies and document observations accurately
• Learn usage and maintenance of pharmaceutical manufacturing and analytical equipment
• Support routine lab tasks: preparing buffers, inventory management, sample preparation
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups within Xeris
• Prepare a comprehensive internship review and present findings at conclusion
