Job summary

Xeris Pharmaceuticals Inc. is seeking a motivated intern to join the Manufacturing Science and Technology team in Chicago.

The internship offers hands-on experience in process development/technology transfer, with exposure to real-world projects and opportunities to develop professional skills in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include assisting with trials, drafting protocols and reports, data management and analysis, and supporting day-to-day MS&T operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program in engineering or sciences; minimum 2 years completed; GPA 3.0.
• Returning to an academic program for at least one semester after the internship.
• Strong interest in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers/scientists in trials for technology platform products, focusing on mixing, transfer, and filling.
• Draft test study protocols and reports; manage data and perform analysis.
• Support MS&T day-to-day operations and participate in team meetings.
• Prepare a comprehensive internship review and present to the organization.
