Job summary

Conagra Brands in Hagerstown, MD is hiring for an onsite production associate to operate forming and fryer equipment during the 2:30PM–11:00PM shift. You will monitor, adjust, and document production processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a busy food facility.

You will follow SOPs, sustain food safety, and collaborate with maintenance and leadership to drive continuous improvement while upholding a strong safety culture and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work in an onsite manufacturing environment and follow all safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust forming and fryer equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures, food safety requirements, and plant safety policies at all times.
• Monitor product quality and process conditions, making adjustments and escalating issues as needed.
• Complete required documentation related to production, quality checks, and equipment operation.
• Support sanitation, startup, changeover, and shutdown activities for assigned equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance, and leadership to support continuous improvement.

Position Overview

Shift: 2:30PM‑11:00PM. Hourly Rate: $23.56 an hour + $1.00 shift differential. Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will operate forming and fryer equipment to support safe, efficient, and high‑quality food production in the Hagerstown manufacturing facility.

You will play a key role in meeting production goals by monitoring processes, maintaining product quality, and following all safety and food standards in a fast‑paced, onsite manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
