Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a capable Line Operator to manage Line 3 operations and maximize run time, product quality, and raw product recovery. You will follow safety, quality, and production goals while working in a busy facility.

Responsibilities include training, equipment monitoring, sanitation, and adherence to company policies. This role requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read English training materials, and operate computer systems for data entry.

Qualifications

• Must complete Job Skill Evaluation to begin training.
• Must complete Structured Job Training within the recommended timeframe.
• Must read, understand and communicate in English for job duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (eg bag of sapp).
• Must handle hazardous and corrosive chemicals safely.
• Must use a computer and perform data entry accurately.

Responsibilities

• Form Line Operator trained to operate Line 2 and Line 3 as needed.
• Ensure safety and quality by following SOPs and policies.
• Attend and apply training to applicable skills and knowledge.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping of the facility.
• Comply with Company policies and Plant procedures.
• Monitor equipment (weigh belt, blancher, quencher, fryer, freezer) and adjust as required.
• Read training materials and complete paperwork in a timely manner.
• Support team leaders, mechanics and shift staff as needed.
