Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a General Laborer in Corinth, MS, to operate industrial power equipment, keep facilities clean, and support safe, high-quality service. This entry-level role on 2nd shift focuses on efficiency and teamwork.

Responsibilities include operating a sweeper/scrubber, forklift, aerial lifts, hand tools, and basic maintenance. Must be 18+, have reliable transportation, and pass required safety trainings.

• High school diploma or GED; pass training: Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens

Responsibilities

• Run a sweeper/scrubber to clean factory floors
• Safely operate a forklift
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators)
• Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder (e.g., scissor lift, articulating lift)
• Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools
• Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties (e.g., recycling, painting, filter changes, fabrication machinery support, and coolant services)
• Perform grounds maintenance services (e.g., landscaping and snow removal)
• Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
• Complete other duties as assigned

Job description

The General Laborer is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

• Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
  • Repeat the same movements
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
  • Work at heights to 40 feet
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Full-Time, 2nd Shift
• Monday-Saturday 2pm-10pm
• $13/hr
