Job summary

Vonachen Group is seeking a Fork Truck Driver in Tupelo, MS to safely operate forklifts and other powered equipment. You will contribute to a safe, efficient work environment while supporting maintenance tasks and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ and have reliable transportation.
• Must pass training: LOTO, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, Bloodborne Pathogens.
• Able to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift.
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators).
• Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder.
• Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools.
• Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties.
• Perform grounds maintenance services.
• Maintain a safe work environment following safety regulations.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Cleaning Racks.

Job description

The Fork Truck Driver is responsible for operating industrial power equipment as needed to complete assigned tasks. This person is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift
• Operate industrial powered vehicles (e.g., golf carts or Gators)
• Operate aerial lifts to perform tasks above safe reach of a ladder (e.g., scissor lift, articulating lift)
• Operate, pneumatic, battery powered and electric hand tools
• Assist in the performance of building/equipment maintenance duties (e.g., recycling, painting, filter changes, fabrication machinery support, and coolant services)
• Perform grounds maintenance services (e.g., landscaping and snow removal)
• Maintain a safe work environment following all required safety regulations and protocols
• Complete other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

• Skills and Abilities
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, either orally or in writing

• Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successfully pass training: Lock-Out-Tag-Out, Confined Spaces, Aerial Lifts, Forklift, Gator/Cart, Fall Protection, PPE, and Bloodborne Pathogens
• Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time; climb stairs
  • Repeat the same movements
  • Frequent bending and twisting
  • Able to lift, push & pull 50lbs
  • Work at heights to 40 feet
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Details:

• Full-Time 1st Shift
• Monday - Friday & Weekend Availability
• 6am-2pm
• $14/HR
