Job summary

McGrath is seeking a motivated Forklift Operator/Yard Assistant to move modular buildings and materials in the yard and warehouse. You will operate tugger and forklifts, assist with tire/axle changes, and help maintain inventory accuracy while following safety procedures.

The role requires standing for long periods, outdoor work in varying weather, and a current forklift certification. Training and a collaborative team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be certified to operate forklift and related equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies.
• Good communication with yard staff and office.

Responsibilities

• Operate tugger to move modular buildings, containers, tanks and large equipment.
• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve supplies in warehouse.
• Occasionally deliver materials to job sites using company vehicle.
• Assist yard crew with tires/axles and miscellaneous tasks.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the warehouse and document locations.
