Job summary

Genpak in Charlotte, NC is seeking a forklift operator to distribute products and unload trailers per OSHA requirements. You will move products to correct locations, participate in inventory processes, and ensure food safety standards are met.

The role involves daily equipment checks, accurate loading, and collaboration with the Warehouse Manager to maintain efficiency and safety across all warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Must operate PIT equipment per OSHA specifications and daily inspections.
• Accurately pick product and cases per shipping orders using barcode scanners.
• Document all product pulled, locations, and loading details for Oracle.
• Notify supervisor of damaged cases and participate in annual inventories.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Complete trailer inspections and ensure proper sanitation standards.
• Load/unload trailers and restack product per location, ensuring accuracy.
• Consolidate bays and correct Oracle inventory data as required.
• Assist truck drivers with location, paperwork, and access to facilities.
